To determine whether or not you are a good candidate for a denture, the dentist will first perform a complete oral examination of your gums and teeth and take appropriate x-rays to view the quality, quantity, and shape of bone you have in your jaw.
To fabricate a partial or full denture requires approximately five visits. These visits include impressions and evaluating the fit and appearance of the denture and teeth prior to final processing. On the day the denture is finished, the dentist will adjust the fit as needed and go over instructions with the patient on how to care for their new denture.
